About the artist.

Alex Minturn.

Born in 1964 and raised in Columbus, Ohio.

West High School 1982

Scott Vocational Nursing School Summer 1982. Certified Orderly.

OSU Medical Technology 1982 - 1983

Columbus College of Art and Design 1983 - 1994 BFA, Illustration major and Art Therapy minor.

Parents Stanley Albert and Dorothy Jean had 10 children. I was #9.

Worked in Nursing homes and private home health care until graduation.

Worked in the trades of interior and exterior house painting. Plaster repair, drywall, textures and tiling.

Owned first gallery in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Alexander & Rhodes Mercantile and Art House.

2nd short lived gallery/gift shop Studio 1000

Currently owns Alexander's art house ( Aah !!!!) in Canton, Ohio. A working painting/art studio and Art Gallery.
